Keeping it real
Peta Miller, a graphic designer, with over 20 years industry experience, has always believed in ‘keeping it real’. That’s why in 2006, she set-up miller&team design, with an ethos that identifies with the art in the science of marketing.

Peta trained at Ravensbourne College of Art & Design and Middlesex University and emerged as a problem solver, skilled in the fundamental rules of good typographic considered design.

Based in her purpose-built studio and home in South London, 15 minutes from London Bridge, Peta serves a wide range of clients from start-ups to corporates, all of whom appreciate the role that good design plays in business and how important it is to create a singular identity that differentiates each from their competitors.

Successful brands are authentic brands – those based on a bedrock of unique truths, thoughts and beliefs which distinguish one organization from another. Discovering and trading on its genuine points of difference gives a company true ownership of a brand. This is always our starting point, whatever the project, because the more authentic the brand, the more credible the communication, and the better the chances of achieving your objectives.

Uncommon sense
These days, budget-aware businesses and enterprises are calling for a new form of design consultancy - one with the unbeatable efficiencies of a small team, yet the performance of a major agency. Miller&team clients want proven experience, talent and brains as well as a different, more flexible way of working. Thoughtful and original - yes; formulaic - no; uncommonly good sense - certainly.

The good news is that miller&team is totally independent, so we can offer you all of this. It also leaves us free to pursue our own vision - to be perfectionists, to play the occasional hunch and to stretch our clients to do more than just tick the boxes.

The Miller Team
Each Miller Team is specially selected for the project in hand, led by Peta Miller and assembled from a loyal circle of well-seasoned creatives. These include Adrian Press - an experienced freelance copywriter and creative director who practiced his craft in major ad agencies where he wrote the line ‘The Appliance of Science’ for Zanussi. He’s an instinctive strategist, who works through-the-line and is well-versed in the disciplines of creating suitable web-words. Two excellent photographers, who both excel at their craft, are also an essential part of the team - the much travelled, award-winning Jon Wyand, and David Watts, who boasts a fully kitted-out studio and retouching suite down at Whitstable. Our trusted web developers build bespoke content-management systems to keep your website up-to-date quickly and easily in-house. They are also experts in personalizing off-the-shelf back-end systems, offering competitive priced cms-driven web alternatives.

On the print side, we have built up long-standing relationships with tried, tested and accredited printers (litho and digital), both locally and further afield, all of whom offer extremely high quality results at prices to suit your budget.

We can also bring in lettering artists, illustrators, film-makers and packaging construction experts, should the design require these specialist skills. The case studies show on our website include some cherry-picked examples of our work, past and present, from complete integrated branding solutions to simple price lists, all created with a classical standard of design elegance and branding excellence - dedicated to achieve strictly commercial results.

But enough about us, what can we design for you?
